Obstetrics

Our goal is to have both mother and baby undergo a satisfying experience of treatment, with great care and respect. The providers in the Obstetrics Department of the Lighthouse Mission Hospital are motivated to provide the best available care for women and their unborn babies in low risk and average risk situations.

Our services include:

  • Pregnancy testing
  • Ultrasound for dating, anatomy, sex determination, and growth
  • Screening for inherited and genetic conditions including Down Syndrome
  • Experienced prenatal care and delivery at the Lighthouse Mission Hospital, with all the services expectant mothers need.
  • Vaginal birth after cesarean section (VBAC)
  • Educational classes twice a month in Pregnancy & Childbirth and Breastfeeding

    We offer a wide variety of gynaecological services to provide the best quality health care for our patients.

    Our services include:

    • Annual exams including Pap smear* and breast exam
    • Contraception counseling including tubal ligation
    • Abnormal bleeding diagnosis and management
    • Treatment of Abnormal Pap Smears
    • Treatment of Pelvic Pain, Painful Menstruation, and Painful Sex
    • Sexually Transmitted Disease Testing and Treatment
    • Medical Treatment of Fibroids
    • Cancer Screening

Infertility


Dr Enin is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. We deal with ovulation disorders, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), fiboid tumors, unexplained infertility, male factor infertility, recurrent miscarriages, and other conditions related to fertility problems.

Available testing includes: in-office ultrasound, hysterosalpingography (HSG), hormone testing, and genetic testing.

Currently the various treatment options include:

*      Ovulation induction with clomiphene citrate (Clomid) and/or metformin (Glucophage)

*      Surgical and medical treatment of fibroid tumors 

*        Infertility evaluation, education, and first-line treatment

*      Progesterone support for luteal phase deficiency
